This course is for technical professionals who are in the final stage of preparing for the Cisco CCIE Routing and Switching lab.
Learners who attend this course must have completed Cisco Advanced Instructor-led Workshop I (CIERS-1) or its equivalent, or have a recorded strong attempt at the actual Cisco CCIE Routing and Switching lab.
Learners who are enrolled in this course must also possess a solid understanding of the core technologies that are encountered in the Cisco CCIE Routing and Switching lab. These technologies include: Frame Relay, Cisco Catalyst 3560 Series Switch baseline tasks, Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Routing Information Protocol version 2 (RIPv2), route redistribution, and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
Upon completion of this course, learners should:
CIERS2 5-day Workshop is intended for students who are focused on mastering advanced configuration and troubleshooting. Workshop is approximately 20% lecture and 80% hands-on work. Includes five (5) eight-hour assessment labs, graded and returned with mentor feedback. Students will work collaboratively with other students and receive instruction via peer and instructor reviews.
