Designing & Deploying OLAP Solutions and Implementing MDX in SQL Server 2000 (E-SQL-C)


Who Should Attend

SQL Server database and Windows 2000 network administrators and developers who are responsible for writing queries and the management and technical support of Microsoft SQL 2000 Data Warehouses.


Prerequisites

A basic understanding of database design, administration and implementation concepts.
Students will also need experience with a Microsoft Windows 2000 environment and familiarity with Data Warehousing (OLAP) structures.


Course Objectives

This customised course provides students necessary knowledge and skills required to design, implement, and deploy OLAP solutions, combined with knowledge and skills necessary to use multidimensional expressions (MDX) to add calculated members and other dynamically calculated values to a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services cube by using SQL Server 2000.
