Prerequisites
| Completion of courses (E-2152) Implementing Win2000 Professional and Win2000 Server and (E-2153) Implementing Win2000 Networking Services or equivalent knowledge and experience . |
Course Objectives
| This course teaches the knowledge and skills needed to install, configure and administer Windows 2000 Directory Services. Participants primarily learn about the Active Directory architecture, practice DNS integration as well as creating and administering Windows 2000 domains, users and groups. The course also teaches candidates how to effectively use Group Policies to centrally manage user desktops, deploy applications and manage security. Finally, candidates create and learn how to manage Windows 2000 trees and forests, manage Active Directory databases, replication processes, database reliability and database recovery. |
